"After being in Bogota for a couple of days, my wife and I decided to find a restaurant with traditional Colombian food. We came across Restaurante El Poblado in the neighborhood where we are staying and decided to try it. What an amazing discovery. Restaurante El Poblado specializes in traditional Colombian food (comida tipica Colombiana). My wife ordered frijoles con chicharron and I tried the frijoles con penzuna and both entrees were delicious. The frijoles were the best we’ve ever had. The service was very professional and friendly. Our server, Orlando, was patient with our “restaurant Spanish” and very helpful and offered good recommendations. When in Bogota, I highly recommend Restaurante El Poblado for excellent Colombian food."

"I almost died ! People with gastro intestinal problems - please proceed with caution. If you plan to go to some critical business meetings after lunch , please don't go here. The place is very friendly and they will not tell how much they will overfeed you. Please don't go here if you had a breakfast. Keep your stomach as free as possible. Highly recommend this place for foodies. Bandeja paisa is a must have !!! 5 star rating :) ."
